Ordinary maintenance

What is ordinary maintenance?

The main feature of ordinary maintenance is the fact of being a programmable service, and therefore not an intervention limited to emergencies.

Its objective? Control of the performances of machine tools in order to prevent faults or malfunctions, potential causes of accidents and machine stops. It is useful to ensure the best machine performance over time, increasing productivity and maintaining efficiency.

  • Predictive maintenance

    A survey is the first step necessary in order to plan a precise and optimized maintenance plan. AV Group provides a complete diagnostic check-up plan:

    • complete disassembly of machinery
    • determination of wear status and life time
    • program about future action
  • Frequency

    The results of the diagnosis will show how often the operations are carried out, taking into account the age of the machinery (actual working hours) and the safety components of the equipment.

  • Actions

    Specifically, we periodically carry out the following operations:

    • verification of the absence of alterations of the safety components (for example, checking the integrity of the protective housing and the doors with their safety interlocks)
    • control of the operation of the machinery
    • detection of worn parts and their replacement with new, safer and better spare parts
    • cleaning and calibration of measuring instruments
    • general control of the guide lubrication system
    • control of the electrical and pneumatic systems
    • verification of proper functioning of drives
    • control and geometry of the machine tool
    • filter cleaning and possible replacement
    • oil change (spindle, guides and hydraulic unit)
    • refilling or possible replacement (while also cleaning the entire circuit) of the water in the cooling system
    • chip conveyor chain control
    • machinery tools cleaning
Predictive maintenance
